Do you have questions about infidelity?
Have you found any suspicious items or stains? Do you suspect your partner is cheating? Do you want to know whether there is any male or female DNA in a stain you found? An infidelity DNA test could be the answer. Through DNA Forensic testing we are able to offer infidelity DNA testing services which can help you find answers to questions you may have about your partner’s fidelity.
Semen, saliva, hair, and skin are all acceptable infidelity specimens for collection. Any item with a suspicious stain (i.e. bed sheet, pillowcase, towel, bra, sock, pants, etc.) can be sent or brought in for DNA infidelity testing, it is not limited to underwear/panties.
Through our testing services we are able to confirm or exclude the presence of male or female DNA on any suspicious item . Once the results are obtained, we will also be able to compare the DNA profile obtained to another sample from the alleged source.
Before sending any sample, locate the stained area, cut out and package it in a paper envelope to be sent off to the laboratory. The sample must have a visibly stained area to be applicable. If you are unsure about the viability of the sample, do not hesitate to contact our customer support team.
Please note that samples need be packaged in paper envelopes (not plastic) to avoid contamination.
We appreciate the delicate nature of these cases, and therefore we will treat your case with the necessary discretion.
What are the chances of successfully extracting DNA?
The quality of the sample and the way in which it has been stored is very important to the success rate of extracting DNA. The less contaminated the sample is, the more likely it will be that a DNA profile can be obtained. Although we have high rates of success in DNA extraction, we cannot ever guarantee a 100% success rate. The sample might also not contain any DNA.
What will the infidelity DNA test tell me?
- Human or non-human material: The infidelity test can determine if any suspicious stains on items such as underwear are human stains or not. In the event that a DNA profile (full, partial or mixed) is obtained, the presence of a human DNA will be confirmed.
- Multiple gender testing: This will confirm if the suspicious biological stains are from a male or female donor (or both in the case of mixed profiles). DNA testing can confirm through the identification of the XX and XY chromosome the sex of the donor.
- Identification of donor: In the event a DNA profile is obtained, then this can be used to include or exclude an individual from being the donor of that particular sample. A reference sample of the possible donor is required for comparison purposes. (Additional fees apply)
Once received at our laboratory, your results will be ready within 10 to 15 business days.
